Recipero Ltd was founded in 1999 with the intention of building a business based on the aquisition of information relating to identifiable (serial numbered) personal property and subsequently allowing the interrogation of this information via a range of commercial models

The data Recipero focused on included information on how to identify goods by their serial number, their ownership, theft, loss, insurance and warranty information plus details of known clones, counterfeits and fraudulent trading information.

This current range of products is the culmination of our considerable software development capabilities and the unique relationships that have been built with data providers and users; these include the Police, HMRC, UK Mobile Operators and insurance companies to name but a few.

Many of Recipero's products revolve around our core database system which is populated with information from a wide range of valuable sources from over 32 countries and contains many billions of records. Today Recipero holds of information on its database and receives over 1 million online requests a month for checks on property ownership

Recipero operates the National Property Registers www.immobilise.com and www.immobilize.net, the world's largest free, off-site, online possession and asset ownership registration services used by both the general public businesses and government.

In the event of loss, theft or disaster such as fire or flood all the information relating to possessions or company assets are available from any internet connected device. This is hugely valuable to assist in reporting the information accurately to the Police and insurance companies.

Uniquely in the UK and USA all the registered information and contact details are viewable by the Police via their online property search system called the NMPR. If any item is reported lost or stolen by a member on their account this additional information also appears on any Police search.
